As race day gets closer we receive lots of messages and emails here at the track, so we’ve put together an FAQ post to help you enjoy your night at the speedway.
Q. What time does it start on Saturday April 11th?
A. Spectator gates will open at 2.30pm, with cars on track at 4.00pm and racing from 4.30pm.
Q. What time does it finish?
A. We will aim to have all races complete by 9.30pm, however this is just a guide and could change
Q. How much are tickets?
A. All online ticket prices can be found & purchased using this link
Q. Can I still buy tickets at the gate?
A. Yes, tickets are still able to be purchased at the gate, however they are cheaper online, and you will beat the queues.
Q. Do you offer companion card tickets?
A. Yes these tickets are available both online or at the gate, however they can only be used with the purchase of a valid pension ticket.
Q. Can we pack our own food?
A. Yes, this is fine however no commercially available take away food or glass is allowed in the venue.
Q. Is BYO allowed?
A. NO, bags will be checked upon entry to the venue so please do the right thing. Unfortunately this Saturday night there will be NO bar available at the track.
Q. Do you have corporate boxes available?
A. Yes, our boxes are designed for 15-20 person groups and can be booked by contacting the team on info@westernsydneyspeedway.com.au
Q. Is there a livestream?
A. Yes, please head to www.motorsportstv.live for all the action LIVE!!! - There will be plenty of scam links, DON'T GET SCAMED!!!
Q. Can we go into the pits without a pit pass?
A. Yes, we will be allowing entry to the pit area from 2.30pm – 3.45pm and then again after the chequered flag falls on the last event of the night.
Q. Is there reserved seating?
A. No, all seating is first come first serve.
Q. I’ve never been to the speedway, what should we pack?
A. We would recommend some hearing protection for the kids, and possibly yourself if you don’t like loud race cars, some old safety glasses or sun glasses are another great item to throw in your bag, the speedway can get a little dirty so please dress accordingly and make sure you are sun safe.
Q. Will there be merchandise available?
A. Yes, our trackside shop will have a range of merchandise available as well as the drivers and teams.
Q. Is there parking available?
A, Yes, we have access to plenty of parking should the main carpark fill up before your arrival.
Q. Is there a runsheet?
A. Yes, a runsheet will be posted on the WSS Facebook page closer to the event.
Q. I have purchased a Highline Lounge ticket, Where do I go?
A. If you have a Highline Lounge ticket, please head to the box office upon arrival to collect your arm band.
Q. Where can I purchase a pit pass?
A. Pit passes can be purchased at either the spectator ticket booth, or pit ticket booth.
Q. Do I need a 1day licence
A. No, 1 day pit licences are not enforced at WSS
