FEBRUARY 28 – EVENT CANCELLED

After monitoring the weather closely, Western Sydney Speedway has made the tough call to cancel this Saturday’s Hi-Tec Oils Pty Ltd Sprintcar Super Series round.

We have already had significant rain fall at the venue, and the forecast is for more of the same. Rather than wait until the last minute, we have chosen to make an early call.

With close to 100 cars entered, including around 20 interstate and international competitors, it is only fair to give everyone certainty. These teams invest serious time and money to be here, and we felt they deserved clear direction.

If the forecast somehow misses and the sun pops out, that is great for everyone’s weekend. But based on what we are seeing, this is the responsible call.
