Friday Night Test & Tune

Western Sydney International Speedway will host a Friday Night Test & Tune on Friday, 13 March, giving teams and drivers an opportunity to prepare for upcoming race meetings while allowing the track crew to fine-tune the racing surface.

Open to all Speedway Australia car classes, the evening focuses on practice, setup development, and valuable seat time in a controlled environment. It is an ideal opportunity for teams to test equipment, refine setups, and gain laps ahead of competitive race events.

Event Purpose

The Test & Tune session serves two key purposes:

• Driver Preparation: Provides drivers with crucial track time to dial in cars, test setups, and build confidence on the surface.

• Track Preparation: Allows the speedway team to work on and refine the racing surface ahead of future race meetings.

Schedule

• Pit Gates Open: 3:30 PM

• Wheel Packing: 6:00 PM

• Practice Sessions: 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Driver Entry

• Entry Fee: $200

• Includes pit passes for the driver plus two crew members

Spectator Information

Spectators are welcome to attend; however, attendance will be strictly limited in accordance with Speedway Australia guidelines.
